DESIGNED for the library building's 20th anniversary in 1997, this garden of mature native plants was enhanced by the addition in 2008 of "Our Place Playground" on an adjoining lot, also owned by the county. The playground was conceived by community parents and its shaded garden was designed and installed by the garden Club with their help. Funding came from First 5 Tulare County and a county grant administered by the Three Rivers Community Services District.
THESE 2 gardens are linked to the elementary school by a woodland path well used by classes and individual students. The club is looking at future planting sites along this path.
